What is Improbable Research? What is the IG Nobel Prize? Mark Abrahams, the chief Editor of the Annals of Improbable Researches, organisers of the IG Nobel Prize, will talk about researches that makes people laugh and then think. Real research, about anything and everything, from everywhere. Research that's maybe good or bad, important or trivial, valuable or worthless. Mark will talk about the process that make you decide what's important and what's not, and what's real and what's not, in science and everywhere else. Isaac Asimov said that "The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not 'Eureka!' but, 'That's funny...", so Mark will say us what is funny in research. If you wish to laugh but also think don't miss the IG Nobel EuroTour event in Catania!
